Yellowstone National Park
Yellowstone National Park, famous for its geysers and wildlife, and home to the Yellowstone headwaters, is a mere 45 miles to the south of Cutbow Bend. It is a must see.
Owing to its proximity, Cutbow Bend is the perfect outpost for an immersive experience of YNP. Day or week long park passes can easily be purchased at the entrance of the Park. Back country hikes and tours are available for the more adventurous and you can easily explore the park with the whole family from the comfort of your vehicle.

Wildlife tours
Want to see the park without the hassle of planning a trip? Guided tours are often the best way to go.
Mammoth Hot Springs
Mammoth is a large complex of hot springs on a hill of travertine close to the entrance of the park. It is often full of elk and bison and is a great place to explore with family.
Lamar Valley
Often referred to as the Serengeti of America, the Lamar is inhabited by wolves, bison, elk, and grizzlies. A must see for wildlife enthusiasts.
Gardiner, MT
Gardiner is the small town located at the original entrance of YNP. Visit its many gift shops, sporting goods stores, restaurants and bars on your way to and from the park.
Yellowstone Grand Canyon
The grand canyon of Yellowstone is a 20 mile long, up to 1000 foot deep canyon full of waterfalls and dramatic colors resulting from volcano activity. Viewable from the road with even more dramatic views for those willing to hike.
Old Faithful
Old Faithful, the most famous of geysers, is a cone geyser of dramatic beauty and regularly occurring eruptions. It is very popular attraction best viewed in the spring and fall to avoid the summer crowds.
Back Country Adventures
Get out there hiking the less explored back country of YNP. Plan a day trip or multi-day adventure on your own or hire a local outfitter. Backcountry knowledge essential.
Fly Fishing
Fly fishing in the park is a must for enthusiasts of the craft. Catch five varieties of trout, along with whitefish and grayling in a dense patchwork of public rivers, streams, and lakes.

Inspiration Point offers a full vantage of the Yellowstone Grand Canyon along with the Yellowstone Falls. Be sure to bring your camera.
